1. About these terms
Skolijo is school management software run by Klevna, a business registered in Bangladesh ("Klevna", "we", "us"). These terms apply to every school that signs up for Skolijo ("the school", "you") and to everyone the school lets use it: staff, teachers, guardians and students.
By starting a free trial, paying for a plan or using Skolijo, the school agrees to these terms, to our Privacy Policy and to our Refund & Cancellation Policy. The person who signs up confirms they are allowed to act for the school.
2. Your school's account
- Give us correct details about your school when you sign up. We verify a school before its free trial starts.
- Your school decides who gets an account and what each person can see and do. Remove access when someone leaves.
- Keep passwords private. You are responsible for what happens under your school's accounts, and you should tell us straight away if you think an account has been misused.
3. Free trial
Plans can include a free trial. The trial length is shown on our pricing page and on the signup form. No payment is needed for a trial. When it ends, choose a plan and pay to keep adding and changing data. If you don't, your account becomes read-only, as described in section 5.
4. Plans, prices and payment
- Plans are priced by how many students your school has and are billed monthly or yearly. Prices are in Bangladeshi taka (BDT) and are shown on our pricing page. Any VAT or tax that applies is shown on your invoice.
- You pay in advance for each billing period, through bKash, SSLCommerz or another payment method shown at checkout or agreed with our team.
- You can move to a different plan at any time. The new plan applies from your next billing period.
- If your school grows past its plan's student limit, we may ask you to move to a plan that fits.
- If we change our prices, we will tell you at least 30 days in advance. New prices apply from your next billing period after that.
5. Late payment
If an invoice isn't paid by its due date, your school keeps full access for a short grace period, and we send reminders. After the grace period, the account becomes read-only until the invoice is paid. You can still sign in, view and download your data and pay the bill, but you can't add or change records. Paying the invoice restores full access.
6. Online fee collection
If your school turns on online fee payments, guardians pay through Klevna's merchant accounts with bKash, SSLCommerz or other gateways. We collect these payments on the school's behalf and pay the collected amount out to the school's account on the schedule and terms agreed with the school.
The school sets its fees and is responsible for them. Questions about how much is owed, waivers and refunds of school fees are decided by the school. Our Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how approved refunds reach the guardian.
7. Your school's data
- Your school owns the data it puts into Skolijo: students, guardians, staff, attendance, results, fees and documents. We use it only to run Skolijo for you, as our Privacy Policy explains.
- Much of this data is about children. The school confirms it has the right to enter it and has told guardians and staff how it is used, as the law requires.
- You can download your data while your account is open. After you cancel, we keep it for a limited time and then delete it, as described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Acceptable use
When using Skolijo, your school and its users must not:
- break any law of Bangladesh, or enter data you have no right to use;
- use SMS, notices or messages for anything other than school matters, or send spam;
- try to reach another school's data, get around access limits, or attack, overload or copy the service;
- resell or rent out Skolijo without our written permission.
9. SMS and notifications
The school is responsible for what it sends to guardians, students and staff through Skolijo. Messages are delivered through SMS and email providers. We can't guarantee that every message arrives, for example when a number is wrong or a phone is switched off.
10. Availability and support
We work to keep Skolijo available at all times, and we back up data every day. We can't promise the service will never be interrupted. We give notice of planned maintenance where we can. You can reach our team by phone, WhatsApp or email.
11. Cancellation and suspension
- Your school can cancel at any time by telling our team. You keep full access until the end of the period you have paid for, and we don't charge you again. Our Refund & Cancellation Policy explains when a refund applies.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or stays unpaid. Except in serious cases, we will warn you first and give you time to fix the problem.
12. Our software
Skolijo's software, design and name belong to Klevna. While your subscription is active, your school has the right to use Skolijo for running the school. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of the software to the school.
13. Limits of liability
We provide Skolijo with care, but to the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses such as lost income or lost opportunities. Our total liability to a school is limited to the amount the school paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Bangladeshi law.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Skolijo changes. For important changes, we will tell schools by email or inside Skolijo at least 30 days before they apply. The date at the top of this page shows when the terms last changed.
15. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. If something goes wrong, please talk to us first, and we will try to settle it quickly. If we can't agree, the courts of Dhaka will decide.
