What you can do
See which classes are left and speak to their teachers. As soon as attendance is saved, guardians of absent students get an SMS automatically.
Sample data. On the real screen this is built from your school's own records.
How you found out before, how you'll find out now
Four questions, answered without asking
Who is absent, and who keeps missing school
- Before
- The class teacher brought the register and you turned the pages. If someone missed a week, you noticed at exam time.
- Now, with Skolijo
- The numbers arrive as soon as morning attendance is done. A student absent several days in a row shows up on the list with the reason, and the guardian gets an absence SMS automatically.

Which class, which subject is falling behind
- Before
- The tabulation sheet arrived after the results. Working out which section was weak meant sitting down with a calculator.
- Now, with Skolijo
- As soon as marks are in, every class's pass rate sits side by side. You know where extra care is needed before you meet the teachers.

The money, at a glance
- Before
- At month end you matched the receipt book against the fee register to see what came in and who still owed. Late nights before every committee meeting.
- Now, with Skolijo
- Collected, due and who is late are worked out from the start of the session, late fines included. Receipts are numbered in sequence, and teachers' payslips are in the same place.

How far the teachers' work has got
- Before
- The week before results, the same line every day: "Sir, I'll give the marks tomorrow." Finding out what was pending meant asking each teacher.
- Now, with Skolijo
- See by name which subject's marks are pending and which class hasn't taken attendance today. Once all marks are in, GPA and merit positions are ready and the tabulation sheet is ready to print.

Duties and responsibilities of a head teacher
A head teacher's duties, and where Skolijo helps
A head teacher is responsible for the whole institution's teaching, discipline, accounts and contact with guardians. The duties don't shrink, but the time spent hunting for information does.
Making sure students attend regularly
Skolijo: Daily attendance rate, classes that haven't taken attendance, and a list of students absent several days in a row. Guardians get absence SMS.
Running exams and publishing results on time
Skolijo: Marks-entry progress, GPA and 4th-subject calculation by board rules, and printed tabulation sheets, marksheets and admit cards.
Looking after students who fall behind
Skolijo: Students at risk because of repeated absence, low attendance or failing the latest exam, each with the reason.
Keeping accounts transparent
Skolijo: Numbered receipts, dues and late fines worked out automatically, teachers' payslips, and reports ready to show the managing committee.
Keeping guardians informed
Skolijo: News of notices, results and fee receipts reaches guardians, who also see their child's attendance and results on their own page.
Admissions, transfer certificates and testimonials
Skolijo: Your school's own online admission link, and transfer certificates and testimonials printed with serial numbers.
Questions and answers
What head teachers ask
What does a head teacher see in Skolijo each day?
Today's attendance, classes that haven't taken attendance yet, students at risk, fees due, how far marks entry has got, admission applications waiting for approval and notices about to expire, all on one screen.
How does Skolijo decide a student is at risk?
Students who are absent several days in a row, have a low attendance rate, or failed the latest exam appear on the list with the reason.
Do I have to dig out the information myself?
No. When teachers enter attendance and marks and the office records fees, Skolijo arranges it and shows where your attention is needed.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. It works in the browser on any Android phone or computer. There is no new machine to buy.
Do teachers and accountants see everything?
No. You decide who sees and does what. Teachers see their classes, the office sees fees, and you see the whole school.
How long does it take to get started?
Verifying a school usually takes 1–2 working days. After that up to 500 students can be imported from an Excel file at once, and our team helps with setup.
